Who we are

ORQENA is a strategic operations and transformation consultancy operated by Anbukumaran Vasanthan, based in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, trading as ORQENA. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through orqena.in, the ORQENA Growth Readiness Assessment at growth.orqena.in, and anbuvasanthan.com (the founder's personal site).

Information we collect

We collect information in two ways: what you submit directly, and what your browser sends automatically when you visit the site.

Information you provide

When you apply for a Diagnostic or otherwise contact us, we collect the details you enter into that form, which may include your name, email address, company name, website, annual revenue range, team size, the operational constraint you describe, and your desired outcome.

Growth Readiness Assessment (growth.orqena.in)

When you complete the assessment, we collect your answers to the assessment questions (for example industry, revenue range, team size, role, growth goals and how you currently use AI) and the contact details you enter: first and last name, email address, company, country, and optionally your phone and WhatsApp numbers. We also record whether you ticked the consent box and when, and the campaign (UTM) parameters and landing page that brought you to the assessment.

We use this information to calculate your scores, generate your personalised report, email the report to you, send a copy to ORQENA, and follow up with you about your results by email, phone or WhatsApp where you have agreed to this. Your answers (without your contact details beyond your company name) are processed by an AI service provider to help write the narrative sections of your report. Your contact details, answers, scores and a PDF copy of your report are stored in ORQENA's private customer relationship management (CRM) system.

Information collected automatically

Our websites use the following analytics and advertising technologies. They set cookies or use similar technologies (such as pixels) in your browser and receive information such as your IP address (used to derive approximate location), device and browser type, pages visited, referring page, time on site, and actions such as completing the assessment.

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — to understand how visitors use the sites and which content is useful (analytics).
  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) — to measure the results of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to show our ads to people who have visited our sites (ad measurement and retargeting). On the assessment, a "Lead" event is recorded when you submit it.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Corporation) — to measure the results of our LinkedIn advertising, understand the professional demographics of visitors in aggregate, and show our ads to past visitors (ad measurement and retargeting).

Google, Meta and LinkedIn may combine this information with other information they hold about you, for example if you are signed in to their services, under their own privacy policies. We do not receive information from them that directly identifies you.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your Diagnostic application or enquiry
  • To produce and email your Growth Readiness Assessment report and follow up about your results
  • To measure and improve our advertising, and to show our ads to people who have visited our sites
  • To understand which content and pages are useful to visitors, so we can improve the site
  • To maintain the security and proper functioning of the website

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

Who we share information with

Form submissions are delivered to our mailbox via our email hosting provider (MilesWeb) over an encrypted connection. Website analytics and advertising data is processed by Google (Google Analytics), Meta (Meta Pixel) and LinkedIn (Insight Tag) under their own privacy terms. Assessment data is processed by the service providers we use to run the assessment: our web hosting provider (MilesWeb), our email provider (to send your report), an AI service provider (to help write the report narrative) and our CRM database host (Supabase). If you book a call, Calendly processes your booking details. We do not share your information with any other third party except where required by law.

Cookies and how to opt out

Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. The Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag use cookies and similar technologies to measure advertising and to recognise visitors for retargeting. You can control or opt out in the following ways:

Google Tag Manager. Our sites use Google Tag Manager (Google LLC) to manage the analytics and advertising tags described above. Tag Manager itself does not set cookies or build a profile of you; it only loads tags, and it respects your choice in the cookie banner through Google Consent Mode.

Cookie banner. When you first visit orqena.in, growth.orqena.in or anbuvasanthan.com, a banner asks you to Accept or Decline. Until you click Accept, Google Analytics runs in Google Consent Mode with analytics and advertising storage denied (it sets no analytics or advertising cookies and sends only limited, cookieless signals), and the Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag are not loaded at all. If you click Accept, these tools load and may set cookies as described above. Your choice is saved in your browser (local storage) so you are not asked on every page. You can change it at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of each site.

Blocking cookies will not prevent you from using the sites, submitting the Diagnostic form or completing the assessment.

Data retention

We retain Diagnostic applications, enquiry emails and Growth Readiness Assessment records (including those stored in our CRM) for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to them, follow up about your results and maintain a record of business enquiries, typically no longer than needed for that purpose. You can request deletion at any time using the contact details below. Analytics and advertising data is retained by Google, Meta and LinkedIn according to their own retention settings and policies.

International visitors

ORQENA is based in India and email is hosted in India. If you are visiting from the UK, EU, Australia, or elsewhere, please be aware your information will be processed in India and, through the service providers named above (including Google, Meta, LinkedIn, our AI provider and our CRM host), may also be processed in other countries such as the United States. We take reasonable steps to protect it regardless of where it originates.

Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

UK and EU visitors: under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing (including at any time to direct marketing and follow-up contact), to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent, without affecting processing that took place before you withdrew it. We rely on your consent for follow-up contact about your assessment results and for advertising cookies, and on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and understanding how our sites are used. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK or the supervisory authority in your EU country.

Data security

orqena.in is served over HTTPS. Form and assessment submissions are sent using an authenticated, encrypted (TLS) connection. Access to the mailbox and CRM is password-protected. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard precautions to protect your information.

Children's privacy

This site and its services are intended for business owners and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
